Beschreibung
I: Overture
II: Conjoined Epochs
III: In This Dark Time

This is an odd piece in my entire experience... even though these were originally writen a few years ago...

After some sickness induced introspection, i found a lot of irony in many events during the past few weeks... releasing Season Six... seeing two cockroaches in my parents basement.... in my bathroom... and then freaking out over the smell of cockroaches... which induced a bit of trauma... (part of the reason, the Sonata for Horn and Trumpet were set aside.)

To further complications, i ended up with summer flu... which was fun... and harrowing... i was working on the Conjoined Epochs when it hit... which i would work a measure or two while i was focusing on healing... am i the only one who loves the hypersensitivity while being sick? feeling a little extra pain while stubbing my toe... doesn't hurt...

What's most suprizing is i was thinking about the remaining three movements...
they would have been;
III: In this dark Time
IV: D.E.A.D. in December
V: My Immortality Begins

I will start with the last while it is not here... then go to the next... or prior...
My Immortality Begins, was the last piece on the ESC2353 series... which was completed before i got into classical music... it is a significant piece in this regard... it's meant to be exactly how it is...

D.E.A.D. in december... is a depressing piece... it would not fit into the new character of the piece...

the deciding factor was when i realized all three were the same tempo. Even though "In this Dark Time" was a threnody for those lost from Covid-19, it has a more bright tone than the original...

plus i was getting a little lazy... XD

the weirdest part about this is that it is under 10 minutes.
